The journey continues/Rein40vention

So I am about to start another year of my life and am reinventing myself to be better more and more each day! I have gotten to a point where I believe what I say and who I am is important as anyone else! The rein40vention of me includes questioning everything I have ever been taught. Realigning all with God and His Word only. Anything and everything I do must be to please Him!
As December is about to begin and I turn 40 on the second, I will do a 30 day challenge of developing new habits to replace the old ones. Each day I am given the choice to do more fulfilling things with my life and that is what I am going to do.
I plan on continuing with some of these things on my list of daily do's and adding in some of these (some I had started on and am doing well with and now it is time to add more).
Progression is the Key!!

I challenge myself for 30 days to :
*Have 24 oz. of water upon rising
*Have quiet time with God each morning (this has been awesome- try it!)
*10m workout each morning ( for more info on this just let me know)
*Homeschooling curriculum
*Jump rope 5 times per week (have fun with exercise)
*Eat RAW 75% each day (I can have steamed veggies at night)
*Study for my health coaching certificate everyday
*Create ART everyday (total=30 new pieces in 30 days)
*Stretch daily to improve my flexibility
*Read my Affirmations 3 times each day
*Blog daily and develop my blog to be totally awesome
*Speak Positive (Lift up, Build up, Cheer up)
*Take a photo everyday
*My supplements everyday (I have noticed the difference in consistency)
*Develop my art and health coaching into an awesome successful business
*Complete 10 health histories ( any volunteers?)

I want to be better, I will be better, I am better!
Everyday in everyway I am getting better and better!!!!

Thoughts are powerful!

Have you ever tried to change something about you and found it difficult. What was your mind set? Did you believe what you wanted to change or were you doubtful on your decision? Did you listen to someone who was not supportive?

Get a true support team or individual around you to support you. Look to someone who is where you want to be in life. Maybe observe your surroundings, the people you hang out with are they moving forward?, Do they motivate you? Are you reading material that inspires you to grow or change for the better? Growing , moving forward, changing, taking a path different from others takes discipline. Being better does not happen over night, enjoy the journey of life, set some goals reach them and set some more!

Let's make a positive difference in the world!

Happy Holidays!

I am sending you love for the holidays! The holidays bring a time of connection and reconnection with family and friends.  For the season let's share love, love passed along breeds more love and we all can use love.

Get Moving!

Let's get moving and be active! Do what's good for the body, MOVE! Exercise is fun when you make it fun.

What do you like to do that doesn't involve sitting in one spot?

Maybe you could start with walking 30 minutes a day
Maybe you could park further from the door, or take the steps

I love doing a 10 minute morning workout 3 times a week minimum
(10 minute total body workout by Sean Foy is what I like, great book- google it and check it out)

I love to run as well, what do you enjoy?
Experiment with different activities and see what you like, after all your body is your responsibility!

Doing something is better than doing nothing at all :)

Holiday Eating

So the Holidays are just around the corner and as meals are planned, the thought of how good all the food will be, also comes the thoughts of  I know I shouldn't eat so much of whatever it may be for you, but I am going to do it anyway and pay the price later.  Why do we do this to ourselves? Is there middle ground, can we have discipline during the holidays?

Remember this is not your last meal ever in life, yes, you can still eat during the holidays and you don't have to eat salad ( even though it is good for you ).  Just think portion control!  Maybe grab a saucer eat a little of the things you like, chew, chew and chew your food some more to help with easier digestion and not feeling like a pinata afterwords or having to wear your so called fat pants.  Wait a little while and if truly hungry get more, don't eat because someone else is eating or you think the food is going to run out, have no fear!  If the food does run out at one home there are other homes to visit! (LOL)

Enjoy your holiday, create a new focus, it's not about the food! Holiday time should or could be about reconnecting with family and friends! Spreading LOVE! Start a new family tradition, just enjoy life, you only live once.
